The strike is continuing, KMDLNj urges the government and SBASK to find a solution

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has called for the Kurti Government and the United Education, Science and Culture Union to sit down and find a solution to the strike in education.

“The KMDLNj calls for parties urgently to find a solution and students to start learning. Otherwise, both sides will take responsibility for serious and serious human rights violations of a quality and necessary” education.

According to KMDLNj, since 25 September, 320 thousand students of all levels are denied basic human rights, the right to education.

As of September 25, 2022, 320,000 students of all levels are denied basic human rights, the right to education, which under law in force for primary education students is mandatory. It is this fourth year that the school year starts late because of the SBASK strikes that require better conditions for teachers. In contrast to previous strikes, the latest strike was warned much earlier, and the SBASK's request was for all teachers to receive an additional 100 euros. It seems that the government has taken this request as something it cannot accomplish by offering an additional 50 euros as a solution, until the Law for the Salaries is voted on and not accepted by the SBASK. The main mistake of the Kosovo government is that it has not taken the SBASK strike warning seriously, and, until recently, has rejected any meeting or attempt to co-operate with SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj, for the worse reason the key figures in the SBASK have been publicly introduced, been offended on national and human grounds by government officials and those close to the current government.

The Kosovo government, as an effective and mandated leader of power, has had to make continued efforts to avoid the strike, not to ignore SBASK's demands for the meeting, respectively, Prime Minister Kurti has had to meet with SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj, not once but how much it would be necessary to overcome the situation. KMDLNj understands the heavy economic situation of Kosovo citizens, as well as education workers, but there are currently far more economically endangered categories that do not strike, so the SBASK should take that into account.

KMDLNj requires Prime Minister Kurti to meet with SBASK and the strike council in an effort to find a solution, accepted by both sides “warring “, even for a specific deadline, to a final solution.

For this, KMDLNIE responsibilities will have two people with great decision-making powers in the institutions they run, Albin Kurti, Kosovo's prime minister, and Nundman Jasharaj, chairman of the SBASK. By the time Prime Minister Albin Kurti refuses to meet with SBASK Chairman Bemer Jasharaj, the prime minister's responsibility will be undeniable and unforgivable, while, if this meeting takes place and the SBASK will insist 100 %s on realising the requirements, some of the responsibility will go to the Jashawund and strike leaders. If two countries could and compromise, why would two institutions not compromise within the same state!

As it continues to talk about a decline in the quality of education, and especially from those who carry office, KMDLNI proposes to establish a database for educational institutions where children in the positions are educated and not shed crocodile tears for the disaster situation in education if children educate them outside public educational institutions.
