Skender Gashi from SBASK has said that if a consensus between the parties is not reached tomorrow, then the strike will continue. “Greva continues, until they land and sign an agreement between the Chairman of the Grevis Council, Nundman Jasarwright and Prime Minister Albin Kurti and appear before the media saying this agreement ends [...]
“Greva continues, until they sit down and sign an agreement between the Chairman of the Grevis Council, Nundman Jashaw and Prime Minister Albin Kurti and come before the media saying this deal ends strike”, Gashi has told channel 10.
While Ali Sefay from BSPK has said that they are not barricaded, but expect to have reflections from the Kosovo government.
We're not barricaded, we've opened the door. Tomorrow we're waiting for a reflection of”, Sefay said first.
He has further said that they have reflected themselves as unions, and that they expect the same from the government.
If there's a government will, tomorrow the strike will be closed, we'll also have a reflection. We don't have to meet all the requirements, but we've requested that there be social dialogue”, Sefaj said.
Nexhami Hoxha of the Council of Parents of Kosovo has said that the SBASK, in November last year, had promised them that they would not go on strike.
In the November meetings we had with the SBASK, we promised to be together, and we will support them in any other form, but not through the strike. We've been looking for this from SBASK, and this is, in some form, guaranteed by them”, Hoxha said.
Furthermore, he has said they have been disappointed that Sunday they have failed to reach a consensus on stopping the strike, while he said they were willing to enter even a hunger strike along with the SBASK.
We're also disappointed by the government and the SBASK, we've been the ones who told the SBASK, that in whatever form we protest, we're on hunger strike, and we protest, along with teachers, only the kids don't miss lessons”, he said.
