All square, how hackers knocked out Albanian State Police

The publication of former State Police chief's personal and email data is the second act of the collapse of Edi Rama's digital state. What Prime Minister Edi Rama assured us in recent online conversation on Saturday, that our systems resisted and that data was protected, in fact, [...]

What Prime Minister Edi Rama assured us even in the latest online conversation on Saturday, that our systems resisted and that the data was protected, in fact, results in falsehood. Gladys Nano's e-mail had data on the state police's work, his post, and let's say banal data, as was the case with verbal quarrels in Tirana director Lawrence Panganika's office.

The obvious case is also the discovery of a plan for the physical elimination of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. In 2021, Antiterror authorities in Kosovo, Albin Kurti, where part of the plan was reached with the email of State Police Director Gladis Nano, was also a citizen of Albania identified as Prek Kodra. The head of the State Police is informed that he has good skills in using snipers and is allegedly involved in several murders in Kosovo and Montenegro.

Another grave case is that through this information made public by hackers, we also learn a 2017 investigation of 3 persons suspected of preparing an assassination against former DP head Lulzim Basha.

Persons suspected of the execution plan are identified as Fatmir Gurgurrovci, Arben Ymer from Kosovo and Africa Morina from Northern Macedonia, tasked by police employees.

In Gladys Nano's e-mails, we also learn that the many wanted Talo Cela would continue to walk free at a shopping mall in Tirana even though he was declared at large. In this scandalous case, former State Police Director Gladis Nano was informed by email.

The hackers do not seem to have only TIMS data in hand, while today they published all of Gladys Nano's movements abroad. They are suspected to have entered even more deeply, including other highly important state police systems, such as ADAMS and MMEX. These systems that are currently not back work have all the criminal records of many events and persons in these 3 dedanks in our country. The hackers appear to have given the first signal today as they published the list of people declared in search by the Durres Police Local Directorate.

Just as he did in the case of Nuredin Duman's file, where scandalously the prosecution united with Edi Rama's government formally banned journalist Elton Qynno from publishing pieces of fishies otherwise threatened prison, even this afternoon there was a strong announcement by State Police. It was actually a police release release, on the D.A.'s account, that the publication of everyone is that hackers release it in their account on the telegram.

“Procuroria has decided that no data published by cyberattack authors is published by audiovisive media, written online, on social networks or any form of publication or transfer of data posted by the authors of this cyberattack on the T system. State Police IMS. The prosecution has charged the C Unit for the investigation into cybernetic crime into the State Police, the Audiovisitive Media Authority (AMA) and the Authority for Electronic and Post Communications (AKEP) to collect all available and future data information objecting. In the event of violations of this decision by anyone, the C Unit for the Investigation of Cybercrime in State Police will immediately start investigating under criminal prosecution No.5430/2022, for the legal responsibility of responsible persons”, the prosecution's announcement reported.

So, we're in terms where the government has once again proven that it is not independent, but it looks like an appendix of the ruling party. Edi Rama's digital state has collapsed over time since the spring of last year when private data of citizens from the patrol system was massively released.

Everything is happening recently with the E-Albana attack and State Police systems also indicates that more has been invested in digital state propaganda than in cyberattack defence systems, which in modern times must be said to be inevitable. Very little was invested in State Police systems to ensure their protection. Many work within this organization that claim that fact. Servers and various equipment belong nearly two decades ago, have not been updated and maintained according to relevant security protocols, thus being easily exposed to cyber attacks. The latter, as Edi Rama himself has confirmed, are expected to proceed in the future from Iran.

Days ago, Laps.al also reported that attacks by Tehran's regime on Albania are a kind of revenge against MEK activity in our country. The group of mujahedins sheltered at the Manza camp has repeatedly undertaken cyber attacks on the infrastructure and systems of Iran's government.

As far as these cyberattacks are going and what we're expected to learn next is certainly unknown. After they knocked down the State Police and brought out sensitive data, the question that they all ask now is this: Who's next?
