The Education Directorate in the Gjakova municipality has been officially informed by the directors of five schools that teaching begins today on September 15th. The Moustafa Bakija's primary school, Fehmi Aganiı, lower Emin Durakuı, lower cycle, ıyll Morinaım in part, and fan S. The village of Dujake”, said the announcement.
In announcing the school “Mustafa Bakija” reportedly despite the break in the strike, school teachers disagree with the failure to realise their demands, and are disappointed by the recent meeting between the Government of Kosovo and the Greek Council.
Today it is two weeks since about 300 thousand students have not been in school banks, due to the BSPK strike, resulting in SBASK.
The SBASK request is that the Government of Kosovo support an additional 100 euros until the adoption of the Law for Pay, while the Government says it has allocated 50 euros for all public sector workers under the package for facing inflation.
Also, the government stresses that some movements in the education sector have been made, and which were SBASK's demands.
Meanwhile, the deputy chairman of the United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK), Vjollca Shala, invited to the show “Face” on Telegrafi. com said the strike cannot continue until indefinitely, while added that they expect the Government of Kosovo to reflect on the implementation of the Union of Independent Unions of Kosovo (BSPK).
“Hope dies last. There's always a solution. Strikes can go on forever. The greatest desire of teachers is for the lesson to begin tomorrow. All teachers are happy about yesterday's meeting with the prime minister. We thought a deal would be reached”.
Among other things, the SBASK deputy chairman announced that the number of schools currently on strike is 1,000 and 187. And for the damage being done to the students, Shala blamed Government.
Otherwise, education-field connoisseurs the day before have stressed that the matter of returning students to the learning process is not a matter of shopping.
