According to the communiqué, after receiving day-to-day information on the general strike in the education and civil servants sector “and on the pressures and promotional statements of government”, the Union of European Education Union director (ETUCE), Susan Flocken has held a long-term meeting with Nundman Jasharaj and other SBK leaders.
“Director Flocken, hearing that the Government, instead of dialogue, has chosen language pressure and blackmail against President Jasharaj, who is now forced to have limited movement to flee the exchanges that can be pursued by supporters of the ruling party. Mrs. Floken is also interested in the course of the strike and the pressures being put on strikers in the education sector and the civil servants' sector”, said the SBASK report.
According to the communiqué, explaining the situation of teachers in Kosovo has excited Director Floken, who has said he will also communicate with the Confederate of European Civil Servants and alert the European Commission and sectors responsible for education in the European Union,
“Explaining the events and public presentations of government officials and the economic plight of strikers on the eve of winter, those with existing salaries are unable to obtain any fuel for heating and let go of other vital articles have excited general director Floken, who has expressed strong support in the name of 11 million members from all over Europe, and has added that I will communicate even with the Confederate of the Kosovo civil servants to alert to the situation by making sure that this Confederate has millions of members, who will be powerful supporters and support of the Federation of the Independent Embassy. It has stated that it will now alert the European Commission and EU-aware sectors and in co-ordination with them travel to Kosovo to offer strong support to SBASK and SPAK”, it is now said.
Finally, the SBASK orders teachers to remain steadfast to pressure.
Be steadfast in defending your membership, and rather all these pressures follow my support and all the membership of the European Education Union for SBASK and Chairman Jasharaj”, it says in the end.
