On September 22, 1998, he is killed on the front line of Fehmi Ludrovci, Brigadier Commander and former political prisoner. To avoid spreading panic, Jeva Ladrovci, his wife, did not tell soldiers about Fehmiu's fall and took command. Jeva herself was to be killed a few hours later.
