Putin does not show for the warned speech: “is probably out of president”

Does this kind of announcement of a speech to the nation suggest chaos in the Kremlin, then postponing it? Former Croatian Ambassador to Russia Bozo Kovacevic has commented on RTL.hr.

The “when news of its postponement came, immediately speculated about possible reasons for the postponement. One of the possible reasons is that he is no longer president”, Kovacevic says.

“Non-investigation and delay show that he does not have everything under absolute control and has so far been able to create the impression that everything that happens in Russia depends on him. After all, this war in Ukraine is considered Putin's war, but defeat in Ukraine will be considered even with Putin's loss and he wants to avoid it at any cost”, the former ambassador says.

“I think that for some time many nights in the Kremlin have been troubled because that special military operation that was conceived as Blitzkrig, whose result was supposed to be an express change of Ukrainian government, Blitzkryg failed. Since that moment the Kremlin was in turmoil”, Kovacevic says.
