Pre-prisonment against 19-year-old ex-fiancée allegedly led him to suicide

In a written response to Gazeta Express, the Mitrovica Court of Information Office confirmed: “The detention measure for suspects in the interest of investigations which have just begun”.

But what had happened?

By the date 08.09,2022, police in Mitrovica had accepted information that a female person without life had been sent to the Regional Hospital in Mitrovica.

Police units have immediately appeared at the scene, while according to caregiver B.Y. of the age 19 had been admitted to the hospital without signs of life. The victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Law Medicine Institute for Obligation, while police have begun with investigative actions to clear the circumstances of the case, where several witnesses have been interviewed in witness quality and the prosecutor's instruction case has been named, the alleged death””, police reported.

But, on 9 September as a result of investigations conducted by the Regional Investigation Unit in Mitrovica (NJHR) in co-ordination with the state prosecutor, <x1-> thinkers of the NJHR have arrested the person L. The 19-year-old S.H., based on allegations that the victim had recently been under constant pressure from the suspect, in this case the victim's fiancé”.

To the suspects in question, the case has been initiated on suspicion of committing a crime: , committing suicide and assisted suicide”.
