Today's action by Peja Police, Gjakova and Mitrovica in ten locations has arrested 7 people suspected of growing and trafficking in narcotics, as well as confiscated 68kg of marijuana.
According to the Police Community, they have been arrested: G.J., (born year 1985, male citizen of Albania), E.M., (year of birth 2000, Kosovar male), Mr.M., (year of the birth of 1988, Kosovo male), E.J., (year of birth 2000, Kosovo male, F.D., (year of birth 1976, Kosovo male), F.G., (year of the east, Kosovo male), and A.J., (year of 1970, Kosovo male).
“Police have confiscated as material evidence that will be used in further procedure: the 68kg narcotics of 49 g, allegedly marijuana, which has been in the process of drying, 177 narcotic plants of the type cannabis-Stives, 421 grams. Narcotic substance, suspected of cocaine type, two firearms, cash and other evidence”, says the communique.
The suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence lawyers, and after interviewing in consultation with the prosecutor, they have been declared the 48-hour detention measure.
