Political party elections criticised with only one candidate

The election of political party leaders in Kosovo with only one candidate is being criticised by connoisseurs of political issues. According to them, this approach should change as it is damaging democracy. Political parties in Kosovo seem to have already made it a tradition for in domestic elections to dominate only one name for leader. Though called [...]
Although called into democracy within the party and in free speech, this cannot be seen at the moment when one of them holds the domestic election process.
The last case was with the largest party in the country, the Vetevendosje Movement.
The leader of this party was alone in the race for a mandate without any counterCandids.
Professor Milazim Krasniqi wants the CEC to be engaged here.
The “is a poor practice and shows a deficit of democracy in society and believes the CEC should draft strict standards even for the election process within political parties. What we've seen so far is not a good practice and this has already been consumed”, Krasniqi said.
According to analyst Artan Mujaziri, this form is generally affecting the political system in Kosovo.
Our “Our parties are leadership and it has become a practice that the closer the leader the more progress you have in the party structure and vice versa, and that's this kind of auto-censure in parties in order to get benefits and that damages democracy”, Muhramyr has been expressed for RTV “Dukagini”.
Same as Vetevendosje only a year ago, at the helm of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi was elected without any counterCandida.
The same path was chosen by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, which re-elected Ramush Haradinaj to the party's helm.
