The first photograph of the stone installed at the final resting place of the Queen in Windsor has been published. Queen Elizabeth's name II has been carved along with the name of mother, father and husband on the stone inside “King George VI Memorial Chapel”, Windsor Castle.
The black stone tablet is placed on the floor after replacing the old stone that had the names George VI and Elizabeth carved in gold letters.
“fresk Stone” now contains, in the form of the list, “George VI1895-1952” and “Elizabeth 1900-2002” followed by a metal Garter star, and then “Elizab II 1926-2022” and “Philip 1921-2021”
The four members of the family were members of Garter's Order, which has a spiritual home for St. George's Hat. Garter's order is the oldest title of cavalry in the British system of honours, surpassed only by the Victoria Cross and the George Cross that was founded by Edward III in 1348.
