Messiah: Kosovo is a fact for Serbia, but states will soon be penalised for not co-operation

Asked about Kosovo's decision to stay out of the open Balkans, Mesic said: “Kosovo already is a fact Serbia cannot oppose. Very soon, Serbia and Kosovo will understand the importance and penalisation of non-co-operation”.

Asked about the integration of Western Balkan countries into the EU, Mesic says countries that have joined the EU so far are tired of the European Union, while those awaiting membership are tired of waiting. According to him, the solution is whether countries that are not membered to speed up procedures to be part of the EU as well.
