Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gave a speech today at the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization, where he has re-exerted all anti-Western Kremlin rhetoric.
“To the West has a decomposing Russobi”, Lavrov said, adding that the European Union is”totally submissive” to Washington, which Lavrov described as a dictatorship.
The Russian minister added that Western countries already have a common goal, “not to defeat us, but to eliminate us from the geographical map”.
As for the referenda being held today in the pro-Russian regions of Donbas and in Kherson, Lavrov confirmed that the Kremlin would accept the verdict, which in fact does not appear in question by strong military pressure on the population.
The “Referendums are based on the request of local governments, and Russia will respect the will of a people who have long suffered abuses of a Nazi government in Kiev” were his words, which added that the government in Kiev had been the first in January to recall the possibility of the nuclear conflict.
