Kurt's spokesman at work cafe with two RTK Board members

Albin Kurti's spokesman, Kryeziu Progress, along with RTK Board Vice President Arta Berisha and member Dritton Hetemi, have met at one of the cafes near the Kosovo Government building. The purpose of this meeting has not yet been revealed.

This current meeting of a senior government official with RTK high representative raises even more concerns about direct political interference in the public broadcaster, which RTK has been constantly accused of. It also raised concerns about a Government-capped Bord who seriously violates the independence of the public broadcaster.

RTK Board Chairman Besnik Boletini has consistently stated publicly that board members are independent, integrity figures and in no way allow political interference.

What is known is that the Board RTK has failed to complete the composition of the new management since they were elected for nine months now. It is also known that Deputy Director-General Shkumbin Ahmetxejaj and former Deputy Director-General Education Halili are in a process of investigation by the special prosecutor for misuse of official office, overcoming competencies. /democracy
