It has ended without a meeting agreement between the Grevis Council led by Bemer Jasharaj and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Jasharaj, after the meeting, said no compromise was reached, though the strikers demanded such. He said Kurt is not moving from the package already offered, the striker wants to move from it.
So said Nundman Jasharaj:
“We just got out of a long-awaited meeting.
The meeting was quite long, both sides have shared their thoughts and ideas. How the strike reminded the prime minister of our legitimate demands. They told us about their commitments.
We have no change at the moment.
The government stands in statements you know. We just left a long-awaited meeting in the middle of the Grevis Council, Prime Minister Kurti Nagavci and Finance Minister Murati.
The meeting was quite long, both sides have shared their thoughts and ideas.
How the strike reminded the prime minister of our legitimate demands. They told us about their commitments.
We have no change at the moment.
The government stands in statements you know about the package, we stand as the voice of public sector workers, you know, to be present, to positively influence the laws, with our presence in Commissions.
The hot spot was also the package, they've given without question to us, we suggested that this amount of mention that no strike in Kosovo was accepted, we were willing to compromise for the sake of the situation, but the government stayed there and there is no achievement in this situation.
The best news is that dialogue started”, Jasharaj said.. /Periscopi/
