A communique sent to the media reportedly will increase the flow of military vehicles.
The NATO-led Kosovo “Forca (KFOR) will hold the “Golden Sabre” exercise on September 27th 2022 in the Novo Selo Camp training zone. On this date, local communities can see an increase in the circulation of military and civilian transport vehicles. KFOR will take all necessary measures to ease any concern it might cause the population”, the report says.
KFOR also announces that the exercise will include KFOR and EULEX staff.
“The exercise will include KFOR staff and the European Union's mission for Law Rule (EULEX) and will be established in a context of emergency response operation, where KFOR personnel will continue to operate in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX, according to the concept of the “first, second and third”. The NATO-led KFOR mission continues to focus on the daily implementation of its mandate in order to provide a secure and free environment and freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo, as mandated with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 is now said to be.
