According to American intelligence, quoted by the US State Department, Russia's goal was “the restoration of democracies”.
This has happened by financing political parties mainly of the extreme right, but not only.
Also reportedly, further financing is targeted to avoid Western sanctions because of its invading war in Ukraine.
