Hoxha: Government to hear SBASK demands and find solutions for strike

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Eliza Hoxha after the failure to approve the proposed Resolution for strikes by the Parliamentary Group of this party has called for the Kosovo Government and the SBASK to approach positions and find solutions to this blockade.

Hoxha at a media conference, said the Kosovo government has no concern for over 300 thousand students who are not going to school.

Even this resolution was not voted in the Kosovo Assembly today. While I think this may have been a crucial week for finding a solution, because even in the Education and Cultural Commission we tried to have a discussion, I made a commitment to say, but that even before today, the Government of Kosovo was seen to be unwilling and ready to find a solution in favour of both sides”, she said.

Hoxha called on Prime Minister Kurti, minister of education and finance to urgently find a solution and listen to the requirements and needs of teachers.

Whatever we've seen so far from this government is through the dignity of the teacher, contempt, insults, divisions. And this kind of language, this approach cannot be in the function of finding a solution. So today I invite Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Minister of Education, Mrs. Nagavci, Finance Minister, Mr. Murati, in order to sit urgently during the week, not during the weekend to round up attitudes and find a solution”, Hoxha requested.
