Curry said he sometimes does projects for technology companies like Google, but he couldn't find any connection between any recent project and mysterious payment.
A Google spokesman confirmed the payment was a mistake and said the company is now taking steps to correct it.
Our “Ekipi recently made a payment to the wrong side as a result of human error”, the spokesman said.
