The most flooded areas are in the Brecoc district, the “Shute Galica” street, where some houses are flooded in water. The fire crews have taken the evacuation of 14 people who have been carried in boats and pulled from there, which means there's been a lot of rescue of lives in the first place, then it's being taken into the city, in other parts where there are floods in the basements of houses and on the ground floors, so there's been a lot of flooding”, Sejdiu told Klan Kosova.
The Emergency Director indicated they have also sought help from the Civil Emergency in Pristina, with the latter responding.
“We have also sought help from civilian emergencies in Pristina, we have been helped with two teams, with high-power pumps, for urban flows”, Sejdiu said.
