From this Saturday, residents of Fushe Kosovo will pay 60 cents for a bread.
However, rising prices of bread, rising in flour prices will not be.
That's what he said about Front Online, the chairman of the Association of Bills of Kosovo, Bashkim Zajullahu.
Zejnullah said flour is not the reason for the raising of bread prices to the bakers.
“Mell is not expensive and there is no forecast that there is an increase of flour. Bread prices raisers may have some other reason, but flour is no reason to raise prices”, he added.
Zejnullah has said there are currently sufficient amounts of flour in the country.
“We have enough wheat and flour, this amount doesn't know if it's enough for the next year to depend on the global situation that happens, but we're actually good with flour”, Zejnullah said.
Otherwise, annual inflation in Kosovo until August 2022 has reached 13 per cent, the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has shown. This growth of inflation translates with the price increases of many food products in Kosovo this year.
