Through a Facebook post, the government has announced that cyberattacks have been exceeded and that the ongoing attempted attack has been prevented and that all government services are now accessible and unimpeded.

During the past week, at certain times, government systems have faced cyber attack of type DDoS, which has caused occasional obstacles to internet service within government institutions and occasional lack of access to certain government services. During the period of attack, the cyber security team in the ASHI is fully committed to the impact of the attack on the approach and functionality of services as small as possible. In co-operation with foreign experts, with the application of adequate measures, cyberattacks have been overcome and efforts to continue the attack have been prevented. All government services are completely accessible and there are no obstacles to their functioning. No data stored at the State Data Centre within the Kosovo Republic Institutions have been violated during this cyberattack at any moment
