High prices cannot only be paid with their salaries. So citizens have recently increased credit access.
But this will cost citizens even more expensive, as some commercial banks in the country have begun to raise banking interest rates with the argument “as a result of the growth rate in Euribor on the European market”.
In the Kosovo Central Bank, they have confirmed that for loans with variable interest rates, the interest rate could change.
On the other hand, financial expert Florin Aliu, for all this, is seeking investigation by the Competition Authority.
Meanwhile, economics professor Nagip Skarier urges the Government to take concrete measures to support citizens.
The World Bank has announced that increasing interest rates could spur recession in 2023.
