System T The IMS has been fully restored to the port border of Vlora.
A day ago, Iranian-sponsored hackers targeted the T system. IMS, which serves for registration of entry and exits at border points.
Immediately afterwards, the system's system-breaking protocol was followed so as not to give hackers advantages in taking control of this system, the most important for Albanian police.
Further investigations will reveal the damage this attack has caused, but authorities say TIMS and other systems have had protective measures, as within them there are extremely secret information.
There's a defense system, and a person authorized to sign in, which means hackers can't get in without leaving a trace into the system.
Attempting to Control T System The IMS, with the final aim of paralysing police work at Albanian border points, occurred just hours after the US Treasury Department declared sanctions on the Iranian Intelligence and Security Ministry and its minister, on charges that they are responsible for cyberattacking Albania.
The US accused Iran of involvement in cyber activities against the United States and its allies, while sanctions include blocking property of officials and ministries held accountable. /tch/
