US company claims to invest 800m euros in Kosovo, employ up to 5,000 people

Company “American Exploration and Mining The LLC” from America will invest 800m euros in Kosovo, Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi said an extraordinary conference.

According to him, this is the biggest investment in the Balkans, where up to 5 thousand employees will be employed directly and up to 20,000 indirectly.

The minimum wage, according to him, will be 800 euros, while there will be additional extensions and bonuss he has requested from the Government to enable work permits and as soon as possible to start the works, has even revealed that the US Embassy has recommended that the project be postponed forward.

We ask the Government of Kosovo to provide support and all that is with the laws of Kosovo, they have come here with the laws we have in force.
