“The anti-drug unit assisted by the Unit for Fast Reaction and Regional Technical Cremation Unit near the Regional Directorate in Gjakova have implemented the ordinance of the Constitutional Court in Gjakova, the Randa Crime Department, where housing and watch facilities, owned and used by a suspected Kosovo male person, have been checked. During the search of its courtyard, 30 - three (33) narcotic plants of the canabist type sativa, measuring 190cm to 290cm, respectively, are found, says the report.
According to the announcement, it is known that the following evidence has been found and confiscated in the quality of material evidence:
• D#1 witness an amount of the narcotics suspected of marijuana, which was becoming weighted about 448 grams,
• Witness D#2 A nylon bag filled with suspected narcotics substance as marijuana weighing about 112 grams, which was found in the suspect's car,
• D#3 witness An electronic scale,
• D#4 witness sample from the suspected narcotic plant and
• D#5 sample evidence from the suspected narcotic plant.
The alleged suspect who cultivated narcotic plants was arrested. Narcotic plants have been pulled and destroyed through burns. The competent prosecutor in Gjakova has been reported, and has directed that the case be initiated for the criminal work “Qualivation of the hashish plant, cocaine bush or cannabis plant” under the RKS penal code, while the suspected person is prohibited for 48 hours, for legal procedure”, says the statement.
