The ZRR has announced that the FSHU is basing its request on non-devention of subsidies pledged by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the situation created on the energy market in large quantities as a result of the surge in electricity prices on international markets.
On the application for extraordinary consideration, The FSHU emphasises that it is operating under cost, as the FSHU costs are not being covered through above-mentioned tariffs and subsidies as a result of the government's non-devention of the Republic of Kosovo. According to the FSHU, the subsidy value for February 9th period, June 30th, 2022, has exceeded 32.8m euros. Only the lack of subvention non-displacement exceeds the 5% threshold of material as envisioned in Article 11 of the Rule for FSHU entry”, Z announced. RRE.
The ZRRE says that the regulator in the final proposal for retail electricity tariffs had taken into account the adoption of additional subsidies of 10m euros under the Government of the Republic of Kosovo No. 0555 on the date 21,01,2022, and ruling No. 01/060 of the 05.02.22, for power subsidies worth 90m euros. “As a result of these subvention decisions, retail tariffs for non-family consumers (business) and for family consumers with monthly consumption of up to 800km remained unchanged. Such decisions had taken into account the sustainability of tariffs from regulated consumers, security and continued power supply, as well as the financial liquidity of energy companies”.
The FSHU application for the extraordinary review can be found on the ZRE's electronic page in the link: https://www.ero-x.org/.../processes-of-tariff considerations-
The ZRE will review this requirement and keep the public informed about actions to be taken. /Periscopi/
