In his regular address in late hours of the night, he said Ukraine is celebrating the “day of our flag” while “fights against the most formidable threat to our citizenship”.
He called on people to follow security regulations in cities like Kiev and Kharkivi, including the police clock and sirens of air strikes.
“ [ Today is an important day for all of us. And that's why this day, unfortunately, is also important to our enemy. We should be aware that [now] the ugly Russian provocations and brutal attacks are possible”.
Ukrainian Armed Forces, our intelligence and special services will do anything to protect people as much as possible. And we'll probably respond to any show of Russian terror. ”
