Zelensky did not mention the explosions, but he dedicated his night speech to the peninsula, saying: “Crime is Ukrainian and we will never give up on it”.
Russia has downplayed the blasts, and a senior Ukrainian adviser denied Ukraine was responsible.
The crime is officially part of Ukraine, but was annexed by Russia in 2014 following a referendum the international community views as illegal. Many Ukrainians view this as the beginning of their struggle with Russia.
