The new Russian grenades damaged three radiation sensors and injured a worker at the Zaporizhja plant in the second such attack in the course of days, Ukraine said Sunday.
The attack increased fears of a radiation disaster, reports Al Jazeera.
Ukrainian President Volodyarm called Saturday night's “Russian nuclear terror” guaranteeing more international sanctions this time against Moscow's nuclear sector. Ukraine said Russia hit an energy line at the power plant Friday.
However, the authority installed by Russia in the area said Ukraine hit the country with many missiles, damaging administrative buildings and a nearby area.
Zaporizhja's nuclear power plant is the largest nuclear facility in Europe.
