Five other ships have been evacuated from the Ukrainian ports by transporting corn and wheat, three from Chornomorsk and two from Pivdenny, under a UN-brokered grain export agreement, Turkey's Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.
He added that four other ships destined for Ukraine would be inspected Tuesday by the joint co-ordination centre, established by Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations in Istanbul, Reuters writes.
One of the ships that left on Tuesday was “Banks Commander”, carrying the first shipment of humanitarian food aid from Ukraine to Africa since Russia's invasion, the Eikon Refinive data showed.
