Vuciq: We accept Kosovo documents with a letter writing that we do not recognise independence

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic has spoken at a news conference today on the reciprocity issue for license plates and documents.

The head of the Serbian state has said Serbia is ready to accept Kosovo documents, but on only one condition.

Vucic has said that their position on Kosovo documents is that moving with them is allowed only for practical reasons, to enable freedom of movement and cannot be interpreted as recognition of Kosovo's independence, nor as prejudice on sovereignty.

He has said that North Serbs, or all of Kosovo, should be allowed to move with Serbia's documents without pointing at Kosovo's borders.

For that we are seeking EU guarantees. We are demanding that each Serb from the north of Kosovo enter Kosovo's territory with Serbian documents, and that can come out whenever they want. If they confirm this, we've solved a small problem”, Vucic said.
