On 19 August, the Montenegro Assembly session in which the government's distrust initiative led by Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic will be voted.
The sixth extraordinary session session of 2022 will be held on August 19th, 2022. The session will be held in Montenegro's Parliament building, starting at 11:18x1>, is the message the MPs received from Montenegro's Parliament Service.
Earlier today, the Democratic Party of Socialists' club (DUA), Social Democrat Party (SDP), Liberal Party (LP), Social Democrats (SD) and the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA) have handed over in the country a no-confidence initiative to the Abazovic government after signing the basic agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
DPS parliamentary club head Daniel Zivovic has indicated that Montenegro's Government, after signing the agreement, has lost its legitimacy, for that reason they have called for a session where no confidence in the government will be voted.
The fall of Montenegro's 43rd government requires most of the total number of 80 MPs, or 41 votes.
