Von Croamon: We hope that the issue of the license plates will be settled and we will approach the final agreement.

The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Violet Von Cromon, has praised the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on the removal of provisional documents for the introduction and recognition of IDs between the two states.

Von Croamon, through a Twitter post, has said she is content to hear that an agreement has been reached thanks to the European and American leadership.

“I am pleased to hear an agreement has been reached under European leadership and the clear support of Escobar (SHBA)”, it wrote.

“Hopefully that quick implementation will lead to the finding out how to solve car license plates and bring us closer to final normalisation agreement”, the Kosovo rapporteur's post concludes.

Otherwise, EU Foreign Policy High Representative Josep Borrell has indicated that Kosovo and Serbia have reached agreement on identification documents. Serbia has decided to accept Kosovo documents, with this case removing barriers to free movement for Kosovars.
