A Ukrainian grain ship sailed from the port of Odesa on Monday, which is the first trip after the end of an agreement to unblock Ukrainian Black Sea ports, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksander Kubrakov said.
The first wheat union since the beginning of Russian aggression has left the port. Thanks to the support of all our partner countries and the United Nations, we can fully implement the agreement signed in Istanbul”, Kubrakov wrote on Twitter.
The ship must undergo an inspection in Turkey before continuing its trip to Tripoli, Libya, the UN monitoring centre announced.
The “Razoni” with Sierra Leone flag is scheduled to arrive at Turkish waters for inspection on August 2nd, the Istanbul-based Joint Co-ordination Centre (JCC) announced. He added that he has asked all sides to inform military forces of this to secure a safe passage.
