The Ukrainian Air Force has said today that nine Russian fighter planes were destroyed Tuesday in major explosions at an air base in Crime.
The Russian Defence Ministry announced earlier this day that ammunition exploded at an airport in Crime, but that there was no attack and that no aircraft was damaged.
Ukrainian President Mihail Podolyak's adviser, said Kiev was not responsible for yesterday's bombings at the Russian air base in Crime.
He suggested it could be sabotaged actions by partisan entities.
Several explosions occurred yesterday in the vicinity of Novofiodorovka's Crimea settlement, and the number of wounded at the airport has gone to 13, while one person has died.
