The media have shown the image of a father sitting near the body of his 11-year-old son, who was killed in a Russian military attack on the Ukrainian town of Chaplyne, located in the Dnepro region of eastern Ukraine.
The deadly attack in the region yesterday killed 25 civilians and set a passenger train on fire, officials in Kiev said.
Ukraine was preparing for serious attacks across the country yesterday, when it marked its declaration of independence by the Soviet Union in 1991.
Ukrainian President Wolfymyr Zelensky's office has announced that the number of those killed by the train attack has gone to 25, including two children.
Meanwhile, the number of wounded is over 30, making it one of the most serious attacks by the Russian Army carried out in recent weeks.
