Former Kosovo chief negotiator Edita Tahiri has said on Thursday that the European Union, the United States of America and NATO have already convinced that the time has come for reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
But she does not believe this will be achieved at today's meeting in Brussels between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq.
The final agreement on mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia is the key to peace in the region and normalisation of bilateral relations”, Tahiri wrote on Facebook. Although today's Kurti-Wuchic meeting in Brussels cannot bring such an agreement, it is clear that even the EU, the US, NATO are convinced that the time has come for final agreements. This was seen from maximum commitment and their messages given these days”.
Under the EU's interstation, Kurti and Vuciq are at the European Union table, but without first saluting each other.
