The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has warned that the Earth will be hit by a small geomagnetic storm of the G1 class on Wednesday, August 3rd.
A G-1 storm could weaken power grid swings, hit satellites and potentially turn off the auroras in regions around northern politics, in this case the electric colors will be seen in the sky above Canada and Alaska. However, it is the lowest of five classified by NOAA.
The geomagnetic storm occurs because of a coronary hole in the southwestern region of the sun's surface, which is bringing out “copheric gases”. The NOAA Spatial Weather Centre classifies geometry storms in five stages. One is weaker and the other stronger.
The storm, expected to hit Earth this week, is expected to have a low impact on satellites and planetal technologies. Earth experienced a solar storm on July 19th that brought amazing aurora to the north of the United States and Canada.
