The repetition of the intervention by Geoana comes after that of KFOR, which after the country's northern roadblock, said is ready to take measures to maintain stability.
The security situation in northern Kosovo municipalities is generally tense. KFOR is monitoring the situation closely and is willing to intervene if the situation is endangered, in line with the mandate it has from Resolution 1244”.
