Former President Donald Trump is expected to be questioned by New York General Prosecutor Lettia James on Wednesday, CNN reports. The FBI's recent actions with the control of one of the former president's villas seem to have given a crucial turning point to a civil investigation into its business practices.

It is unclear whether Trump will answer questions or affirm his right to the Fifth Amendment against self-indiction during testimony behind closed doors.

Trump said in a post on Social Truth early Wednesday morning that he would meet “with James for what he described as a subsequent “of the greatest witch hunt in US history”!

My big company and I are being attacked from all sides. Republican Banan! ”, Trump wrote.

The debut comes during an extraordinary legal week for the former president. On Monday, the FBI executed a control warrant at Mar-a-Lago, its main residence in Florida, in connection with an investigation into dealing with classified documents. On Tuesday, a federal appeals court denied his long attempt to block a House of Representatives committee from receiving his tax statements.

Some Trump advisers have defended the idea that the former president answers questions about his financial mirrors under oath, while others have warned him not to give any answers because of the possible legal danger he may face.

Two criminal investigations are continuing -- one for possible election intervention and another for alleged financial crimes, the BBC reports.

Meanwhile, a political investigation is continuing over criminal charges of his role in the January 6th 2021 attack of Congress.

While Trump intends to rerun for president in 2024, these cases could bring an end to the former president's ambitions.

White House Data

When Trump left the White House, he took many documents with him at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Under the presidential data law, obtaining official documents could constitute a criminal offence.

His lawyer, Christina Bobb, told NBC Nea that some letters were seized, however, the FBI and the Justice Department have not yet commented.

In February, the National Archives said it had received 15 boxes of letters in Mar-a-Lago, which Trump must have delivered when leaving the White House.

The agency later told Congress that the boxes included articles marked as “classified” of national security.

But Trump claimed the government found nothing and that the Democrats were simply looking for their next fraud.

“Keeping data allows presidents to be held accountable for their actions on duty”, says presidential historian Lindsay Cherrinsky.

But implementing the act of Presidential Registers is “complex”, she says, because the law requires the good “presidential willpower” to save their data.

January 6th at Capitol Hill

Trump is accused of inciting a <x0 pushback” when supporters robbed the Capitol building, while members of Congress certified Joe Biden's election victory on January 6, 2021.

For weeks ago, he made groundless claims on election fraud, which he repeated at a National Mall rally in Washington, DC just prior to the riots.

Shortly after, Trump was acquitted in a political trial in the republican-controlled Senate and supporters announced victory. But that was not the end of it.

In July last year, Democrats and some Republican politicians formed a January 6th committee that is examining Trump's actions in detail. It has received thousands of communications from and from the White House, while the investigations are still under way.

So far, the committee's public hearing hearings have generated a series of charges, including testimony to the aides and advisers of Trump himself that he knew allegations of election fraud were untrue dealt falsely and that the steps he is taking to overturn the results were illegal.
