We risk war: Kurti's statements as preparing people for Association, according to analysts

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has provided an interview today for the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, where he has caused a lot of trouble with his statements that there is the danger of a war with Serbia in Kosovo. The leaders of political party deputies, and policy connoisseurs in the field of security, these prime minister's statements are praising [...]
Analyst and head of the Institute for Affirmation of Interethnic Relations, Fatmir Sheholli, has told Periscope that he has seen the statement of Prime Minister Kurti very worrying, considering that, he [the Kurti], such a statement, has given it to a foreign media rather than to the parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti's statement to foreign media is extremely disturbing to the content because I am aware of how much Prime Minister Kurti has not declared this declaration where the temple of democracy is, that is, in the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo. Consider that the people of Kosovo, if it is what the prime minister has stated, should be informed in Parliament or in the Kosovo government, rather than by foreign media”, he said.
The “that we have problems with the north of Kosovo no one doubts, but that we are on the brink of war or that we have been on the brink of war no one has a day of”, Sheholli said of Periscope.
Unlike Sheholli, Prime Minister Kurti's statement sees renowned Kosovo analyst Fadil Hoxha, where, in a written reply to Periscope, said Kurti is likely willing to intimidate the population in order to prepare for any such event as the beginning of implementation of the majority Serbian municipalities' Association.
Among other things, Hoxha says the danger of war in Kosovo's case is small due to international protection held by the military mission NATO Commanded KFOR
There is always a danger to war “Rresic for war, but in Kosovo's case, this risk is smaller because of international protection due to the military mission. KFOR under command from NATO. KFOR's mandate is crystal clear when we are in the security aspects of Kosovo. This mission, mandated by the UN with the Security Council's 1244 mandatory resolution, is tasked with preserving peace and security in Kosovo, as well as the “preventing access to Kosovo of the military, police and paramilitary forces of Serbia”, as stated at 9th point of the high resolution”.
Therefore, KFOR has taken the obligation to respond militarily to any former provocation or adventure, police and paramilitary Serbia in Kosovo, and should not be suspected that this mission will carry out its duties in accordance with the mandate it has”.
In this sense even war risk statements, even from Kosovo's prime minister, have no real basis but perhaps any other reason Prime Minister Kurti”, Hoxha told Periscope.
The LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has reacted to Kurti's statementWhere he says these statements give the wrong message about our country.
He has said Kurti has had to talk about investments, integrations and not possible war, adding that this falls short of the image built by international festivals currently held in Kosovo this summer.
That's it. This is international media news for Kosovo today. Not for investments, not for integration, but for war in Kosovo. So much for our world message. And so, with the skill of fighting an ajamie, he managed to compete with good news that the cultural summer of Pristina and Kosovo has produced in the same media now and how long.”, he wrote on Facebook.
Abdixhiku further added that Kurti wants the crisis and also wants to be protagonist.
This man wants the crisis. You dream of protagonism in panic. Like Vucciqi, investments in the state of which, of course, do not stop, this too speaks of a Kosovo war, crisis and fear. What do you need the propaganda of your opponents when you have an autonomous prime minister? Ask Kosovo companies today what messages they receive from their collaborations around the world. What foolish man invests in a state whose prime minister warns war? A thousand I want Lipa's do work in”, he added.
In the end, Abdixhiku says the international panic for war in Kosovo is the interest of Vuciqi and Serbia, not Kosovo, which needs stability.
Kosovo needs stability and development. Our state except for its own security has the largest military coalition, the one in NATO, which guarantees our territorial security against any possible aggression. This is our truth; and this truth we should feed every day by strengthening ourselves in security and strengthening the alliance with NATO as a historic goal. International panic about Kosovo's war and the crisis and instability is the only interest of Vuciki and Serbia's”, he concluded.
On the other hand, PDK deputy chairman Vlora Citaku has called for no panicBecause there will be no war in Kosovo, Periscope follows.
There was war in Kosovo 23 years ago. Some of us were adults and we had the chance to fight back then. Meanwhile, Serbia today mostly agrees with the status quo, and possibly with talk about stickers and barricades. The conventional war is over. Now the battles are of another nature”, written Citaku.
Kosovo needs wisdom and normality in governance. Messages should be sent from Kosovo that promote positiveness for our Euro-Atlantic future, for better life and for investment security. We need to clear in front of everyone that we still have open issues with the northern neighbour, which we will resolve with dialogue, in co-ordination with our international partners, because there is no other option and will not be allowed to have”, Hoti said.
Prime Minister Kurti's war statements have shown panic in American companies, questioning investment in Kosovo.
Former head of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Berat Rukiqi, has said statements that may have war in Kosovo, are damaging the public image in front of foreign investors. It shows that an American company planning to invest in Kosovo has contacted him, expressing concern for the news they are reading in the world media.
“The spread of opinion, in global media, which in Kosovo may have war, does not benefit Kosovo at all. Investment companies in Kosovo, among them an American company planning to open branches in Kosovo in the coming months, have contacted me in recent days, concerned by what they have read”, he has said.
We remember that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will meet in Brussels with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq on 18 August. Kurti has warned that there will be no talks on reciprocity with license plates and IDs, but expects to be discussed some elements towards a final agreement./ Enis Rrustemi л Periscopi/
