The 10 republics who voted for Trump's dismissal after his supporters attacked the US Capitol building in January last year have been targeted in a revenge campaign.
So far, four have retired and now four have been defeated by his elected candidates at the preliminary polls in Wyoming, Washington, Michigan and South Carolina.
Only two have successfully preserved their seats in the Republicans' ticket to re-election.
The daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney, Mrs. Cheny, was the last of 10 to face the Trumpian attack.
