This is happening despite promises from this municipality that there will be no reductions in the industrial zone.
The industrial area of Suhareka, in which dozens of businesses develop activities recently is facing the problem of electricity reductions, a domestic problem. The greatest concerns are especially when it comes to uncontrolled blackouts, thus endangering manufacturing machines.
“2 hour 1 hour or anyway take the interruption or reductions that we're having without warning, are penalising us extremely much because we're not able to deliver orders on time. This has to be minimally lost to four hours of work, because all machines require precautionary heat “, said the Red Grace for RTK from the production company.
She said there are machines that are very sensitive and that they are insecure to put them to work.
Lack of electricity is causing problems in other factories as well.
“If the production process stops at half, the damage is huge. Then it's a problem that we don't have control, we don't know when it stops and when the current comes, it's a bigger problem. We have put in solar panels, but they also operate with electricity, we have over 300 solar panel watts, but they can't operate without power because energy consumption is large“, said Naser Golopen, a factory worker.
On the other hand, the mayor of the Suhareka municipality had only two days earlier guaranteed that there would be no electricity reductions in the industrial area.
“With electricity, I believe it's an immediate domestic crisis. Not good, we have business complaints. On Friday, 20 exits, we had a 13-line break. The 13th line is the industrial area, where it really obstructed the production process, as we have an area of 22,000 workers. Yesterday we sat down and talked to KEK, I guess there's no power outage from tomorrow. We as a municipality have the obligation to campaign from September for electricity savings”, said Bali Muharremaj, chairman of Suhareka
Otherwise, the industrial area in the Suhareka municipality has had a special power line, but these days even this production area has not been spared from reducing electricity. Business-based electricity cuts sometimes go up to three hours.
