Rakic reacts to Svecla for the statement that the north was “El Dorado” for criminals

Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq has made a long reaction to Kosovo Interior Minister Jhelal Svecla for his interview with the Serbian medium N1. Svechla said Kosovo's north was “El Dorado” for criminals over the past 20 years and that Serbian List Vice President Milan Radojicic enjoys support from [...]

In his reaction Rakiq stands up for his deputy Milan Radojicic, saying Svechla is lying.

Serbian Interior Minister Jalal Svecla's “attempts to distance public attention from the unfulfilled promises his party made in the campaign, as a rule breaks on the backs of the Serbian people. Therefore, in the preliminary period, he has issued sixty statements in which without any evidence he attacks the deputy chairman of the Serbian list Milan Radojic, the state of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vuciq. Not even a lie against Mr. Radoicic that told Mr. Svecla will reduce your responsibility for raising tensions and risking peace, nor did you promise Albanians a better life and serve them hundreds of problems, starting with lower wages, a 15% inflation. , failure to approve visa liberalisation, destroyed educational, social and health systems, non-existence of foreign investment, lack of jobs, etc.”, Rakic said.

The president of the Serbian List, which also holds the post of Minister for Return and Community Goran Rakic, has also spoken “El Doradon” in the north of which Svecla spoke, where he said the north has been the home of criminals for 20 years.

The fact that each Serb is a criminal for you and El Dorado north clearly shows that you are filled with hatred and desire to turn the north into a place of conflict. It will not come out because neither Serbs nor Albanians will allow it, because they will refuse to suffer to get free political points”, he has said.

Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal has said Kosovo's north was “El Dorado” for criminals over the past 20 years. He in an interview for the N1 channel, CNN's subsidiary in Serbia, said Serbs, Albanians and Bosniaks are also involved in the crime, but that they have Belgrade's support for their illegal activities. As an example of the existence of the link between crime and politics, he mentions Milan Radocicin, deputy head of the Serbian List, who is in the US “and who, he says, enjoys the support of some politicians in Kosovo and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq.

When we analyze the security situation in the north, we understand that it is not just a recent crisis. Kosovo's north -- that's four municipalities in northern Kosovo -- as the area -- were like a “Black destruction” in rule of the law. This is an area characterized by an extraordinary level of smuggling of goods, where various types of criminal acts have taken place repeatedly and without punishment”, Svechla says.

As an example of the link between crime and politics, he singles out the Serbian List's deputy chairman, Milan Radojic, who is in the US “blacklist” and whom Kosovo justice suspects involvement in Oliver's murder. Ivanovic.

“Radoicicic is a person who enjoys public support not only from Serbia but also from some Kosovo political representatives, but at the same time is on the US blacklist because of his participation in organised crime. We have much evidence that, among other things, he recently entered Kosovo illegally. We have statements from Serbian List officials who have said Radojciq was at the barricades on July 31st and August 1st and that he was the organiser and defender of these barricades. That means we have enough evidence for his criminal activities”, Svechla says.

The issue, he says, is that there is a complete lack of co-operation between authorities in Belgrade and the Government of Kosovo to bring Radociqi to justice.

“To make things even worse, he (Radoicicic) enjoys the direct support of Serbia's president”, Svechla says.
