Kosovo's top diplomat Donika Grovalla is participating in the Bledite Forum, which is taking place in Slovenia. This forum brings together leaders of the region and other European countries.
At this forum, Gervala has said that Kosovo is not seeking privileges or short routes, but become a member of this union.
“We do not ask for privileges or short routes, but we ask that you evaluate us with the values you have for yourself and allow us to become members of this union at the moment when we adopt the same values”, Kosovo's top diplomat has indicated.

The US Special Emissary for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, is also participating in Forum, who said that Balkan integration into the European Union has no alternative and that EU assistance in that process is the only answer to the future economic crisis.
According to him, the EU must do much to simplify the process.
“But much more work must be done by state governments on their side to enable the integration process, while some states fail to fulfill their” obligations at all, Escobar said.
