Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after several days of his meeting in Brussels with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, indicated at the Government meeting and later at a media conference on the details of the meeting and the proposals he tabled at the negotiating table.
Kurti also exposed some of Vuciqi's statements about the meeting, which he said before him in public, until Kurti said he respected an internal agreement not to speak in public.
After providing information from Kurti, the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Serbian government, Petar Petkov, has responded immediately, calling not to believe Kurt's statements, which he also called “lies”.
He said the only “truth is that the Serbian delegation has gone to Brussels well prepared, until it tried to support its declaration, adding that international representatives have said the same, Tanjug writes.
The “Kurti has hysterically rejected any offered solutions, because it is clear that it is ready for everything except dialogue and compromise. Kurt has once again tried to make dialogue in Brussels meaningless. He declared a series of lies and lies so obvious that even respected international representatives deny it”.
Petkov says Kurti's statements will not influence Belgrade and Vucinqi.
It is also the responsibility of the international community to try to reason with Kurti, because time is running out and his reports of conflict and escalation of the crisis are more noisy”.
