The explanation for this instruction was given by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at the media conference after the government's meeting.
He explained that there will again be ceilings for the price of oil until he warned that price ceilings will also be set for basic food products.
“Today we have also had the decision regarding the price of the ceiling in terms of oil, but we have also had the margin of profit for retail traders and in large numbers. So we also want to protect the consumer from rising oil prices, but at the same time, we also want to preserve competitiveness. We also have the legislative initiative for basic prices that should have ceilings in terms of basic food products”, Kurti said.
Regarding this decision for Front Online oilmen's chairman, Fadil Behrani has said they are waiting to see exactly what that decision predicts.
Berjan said that if the preliminary decision is enabled, the alarming situation awaits the oil sector.
“We have had contact with Minister Roseta Hajdari and are notified about the decision the Government proposes we are waiting to announce what is put forward in that decision. The preliminary decision has been harmful to gas stations, and many points are on the brink of bankruptcy. If such a decision is again activated, an alarming state in the oil sector” will become, potential Berjani.
According to the head of oilmen, government decisions cannot lower the price, since Beza determines it.
He says that if harmful decisions are made for the oil sector, then they will be rejected.
Any government decision should be respected if it is harmful to businesses like that preliminary decision we will reject. The decisions cannot reduce the price and price of Beza. The Ukraine & Russia wars also have an impact on the price increase. Today the Diesel supply price is 1.65 cents in gas stations approximately 1,69 cents”, Behrani said.
The Kosovo government in June had made a decision to determine maximum trade sales prices by majority and minority. Even then, such a decision had been rejected by Kosovo oilmen.
