LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku did not want to comment on the issue recently open whether administrative instruction prohibiting wearing the headscarf should be removed.
Abdixhiku said this is a non-resistant topic that has been produced by the power itself to camouflage “political inadequacy”.
I don't intend to deal with irritant themes that are produced by the power itself to cover Kurti's governing inability”, Abdixhiku told Express.
He said his party has another attention.
For the LDK, concern remains the alarming price increase of 14.2% within a year. Breng remains the major winter energy crisis and the government's inaction in the face of this crisis. Breng remains the investment deadlock of Kosovo and the lack of capital projects as never before are ministries with zero per cent realisation. Breng remains an alarming neglect to health and not to supply our hospitals with basic drugs. These are the concerns of our citizens, and here we're going to keep our political discourse”.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been declared to this issue at a news conference, saying there should be a ban on wearing a headscarf in schools today, but added that he considers the age of 16 as the threshold.
Meanwhile, a campaign for abolishing administrative instruction that prohibits carrying religious uniforms to schools has been launched on social networks. The Ministry of Education yesterday in a media report has said that for the new school year, it will meet “all legal obligations and make sure every child is in school banks”
