The rocket called SLS is the most powerful ever developed by NASA and will be the foundation of its Artemis project, through which it aims to turn people into Monday's surface after a 50-year absence, writes BBC, broadcasts the Kosovo Clan.
The rocket is scheduled to be established from the Kennedy Space Centre at 8:33 local time (12:33 GMT; 13:33 BST) on Monday.
Her task will be to push a capsule called Orion, off Earth.
This spaceship will roll around the moon on a large arch before returning home to the Pacific Ocean in six weeks.
Orion is not equipped with crews for this demonstration, but assuming that the entire hardware works properly, astronauts will board for a future series of more and more complex missions, starting in 2024.
Whatever we're doing on this flight, Artemis I, we're looking through the lens what we can prove and what we can demonstrate that it will reduce the risk for the team mission Artemis II,” explained the Nasa astronaut Randy Bresnik.
